PGT is riding into the sunset!

Last day on the job.

I'll miss a few people, only because they move too fast and my aim ain't what it used to be. (To the PC-minded, this is intended to be a whimsical pun.)

No more accountants, lawyers, bureaucrats... well, far fewer anyway.

No more going to stupid, insignificant places, like Chester, SC, or Fresno.

No more frantic, impatient emails or calls from people asking where there d a m reports is.

No more arguing with 'customers' over how they could have said their crap was worth more (less).

I think I'll take up shooting fish in a barrel. That sounds like a thing.

Sounds like...

...congratulations are in order. Hopefully you smelled the roses while in Chester and Fresno...as insignificant as you believe they are, you will likely come to miss some aspects of these trips.

CONGRATS!!

If I am reading this right, thank you for all of your service as a thankless government worker. TERI is a wonderful thing. I'm not far behind you.

Hmmm...

Don’t know how you’d think that.

If pigs are so smart, why do 66% of them use weak and inferior materials during construction?

Congratulations to each one of you. I hope you will enjoy retirement and find those years to be the best part of your life. However, be forewarned, you will not find enough time to do all of those things on your "to do" list. Enjoy every moment and live life to its fullest.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Staying up late watching Netflix, people waking you up with a phone call at 9:00 a.m., fishing and hunting whenever and wherever you want, and course, that honey dew list. The poster above is correct, you will not have enough time.

It's a wonderful place. I've got a fishing rod with your name on it. Going to Monticello tomorrow seeking big blue. Bring the boy with you. Got a smaller rod and reel for him. Enjoy life. Or if hunting is more your style we can go after the elusive RH tiger. I've got 'em on game cameras. We just need to bait 'am with the proper elixir. ??????

I need to rejuvenate all my fishing gear.

THAT might take a while.

please tell me what you are referring to with RH tiger???

If you're speaking of Lake Monticello, my family has several tracts of land in that area and i have a couple of game cameras there myself--sometimes can't tell what sort of animal i'm getting on the grainy nighttime shots. What is the RH tiger?

Congrats for sure. I about 9-10 years away myself but I actually think about it everyday. I look forward to having more time to simply do the things I enjoy doing. I plan to be busier than ever just being busy on the things I have some passion about.

Good luck to you and enjoy every minute of it.

Congrats and welcome to the club,

where every day is Saturday. Play golf or go fishing at the spur of the moment. Sleep in whenever you like. The only downside is you can't use the excuse "I didn't have time" ever again.

I am about seven months away from the start of retirement. I plan to continue working part time in some fashion because I haven’t yet won the lottery or PCH sweepstakes, but those who have already proceeded claim life is wonderful if one can afford the circumstances!

Enjoy each day. It is called the present for a reason!

Go Tigers!

congrats!!
