Deer Liberals,

Thank you for all the entertainment and theater over the past six or eight weeks. Your constant jumping from one reason to another for not allowing Kav to take the bench was quite acrobatic, an astounding feat of magic and a mixture of some new, popular, and my newest, most favorite stunts.
The dramatic descent into the net at the end of the trapeze act was spectacular.
The embarrassments you endured were quite impressive, especially the way you feigned outrage when the characters on the other side didn't behave according to your rewrite of the scr!pt. Who authorized your rewrite anyway? Clearly the White House outline the story, determined the end at the direction of the people and congressional republicans directing the action.
All I have to say is thank you and I'm standing in ovation for your fine performances.
BRAVO, BELLISIMO, MAGNIFICO!
I can't wait to see what you do next so if you can complain, whine, moan and #### until the next production of 'Let's Show We're AZSWIPES!' Chpt 2 , I sure appreciate it.

They've become too extreme and too dangerous to govern. It's like giving matches to an arsonist. Every single one of them needs to be voted out.

I mean, you just repeated verbatim what trump said at his last rally. Are you one of his writers, or just a pigeon head?

do you consider yourself an American?
I'm asking because you don't sound like an American. You see, here in America, we're actually pretty cool with more than one political party.

..she was then embalmed. They prop her up in her chair, spraying her with Febreeze to cover the occasional odor, before rolling her out for public appearances.

Overall it looks like a coordinated effort to...

stir up each parties' base. Republican were lagging behind in the polls but pulled even over the dems antics. Imo, the dems should have let it alone and worked on a comprehensive message for the midterms. Right now they are being drown out by the socialist wing which also stirs up conservatives.
Using the slogan 'Destroy republicans,' will stir up emotions but it won't win an election. Dems may have been fooled by Trump's boisterous big talk about how bad dems are but it was the promises and the steady message that what's important to the middle class is what is at the top of his agenda. His success in the eyes of his supporters can't be shaken.
I just don't see the democrat party regaining the middle class without using Trump's message. I can't believe pubs are now the party of the working man. That was quite a feat.

say what the radical left wants to hear but govern as always. I don't like the way they govern but they know better than open borders, institute too much socialism or run over the people in the center of the political window.
Those people protesting in the streets are either in for a rude awakening or will be willing to settle to see the dems screw them when they take power again.

I stayed pretty consistent on why I did not think he should have been confirmed, he is average and unremarkable as a pick. He acted like a child in front of the senate, and if there is even a 5% chance he is lying, then he should not even be a part of the discussion.
But congrats on your victory, and your newly found liberal tears taste delicious motif. It is a good look for you.

that he is awkward, unremarkable, partisan? we all saw that on the TV.
as far as the accusations none of us know, but again, if even a 2% chance he is lying, he should not be considered.

would you like a brief synopsis of his boring, unremarkable life, or the one where he played partisan politics to get ahead in his career as a judge? I mean let's not forget he got his circuit court seat from dubya, they were both Delta Kappa Epsilon at Yale, not that that played a role in the final decision? It is utterly sad and frightening that this is your guy.

to others on SCOTUS
Are you suggesting that he got job as Bush's staff secretary because he was in the same frat as Bush 20 something hrs after Bush was there...and it nothing to do with his prestigious clerk positions or his job a associate counsel in the independent prosecutors office?
You do understand he worked for Bush in a position of very close personal contact prior to Bush nominating him to the DC circuit, right?
But you ignore all of his experience, achievements, etc...and it HAS to be that he was in the same frat a couple of decades apart?
And how did he play Harrison politics to get ahead as a judge?

The radical left will dominate the conversations and the silent majority will show up at the polls en masse again.

that it's not a fixed position across the political scale. If it moves right a little, that's seen as an endorsement of Trump. If it moves left a little, that's proof-positive of the Blue Wave.
And in reality, it's neither.

into the 2016 election that Trump supporters were silent when the polls were taken. Elsewise, one would think the polls were rigged for Hillary. While I don't doubt some of the numbers were massaged I doubt all the polls were biased.
I also believe the promise of a conservative Justice was a certain defining moment in the eye of the conservative right wing of the party.
Dems have made Nov about the SCOTUS, we'll see how the Trump voters in those five Trump states behave then. Imo, the dems would be better off letting this go now and hope Trump voters cool off or forget before they start pulling levers and pushing buttons. We'll see.

The polling during 2016 was pretty much spot on. Models got their predictions wrong because of insufficient data from the midwest. But still, saying something has a 10% chance of happening is not the same as saying it's not going to happen.
This has been explained in this forum repeatedly and I'm pretty sure you've been involved in some of those threads.
