One thing being overlooked in the Mays saga is the fact that

Dec 19, 2017, 10:08 AM

Dabo chose the Sugar Bowl, not the Rose. As a result UGA is in position to offer Mays an opportunity to suit up and potentially play in the Rose Bowl.

It’s an easy pitch that Dabo now can’t make... “sign with us on Dec. 20 and in less than 2 weeks you’ll be suited up in the Rose Bowl.” Frankly, I’ll be surprised if this doesn’t flip more early signers go UGA.

Why would Dabo just hand our recruiting rival a golden goose like that? Inexperience?

Why did you even waste the effort of thinking this up and then actually type it?

I think the pitch was more like....

Take all of Robbie Caldwell's draft picks (2) since arriving in clemson (2011) and combine their paychecks versus what Sam Pittamn has sent to the NFL. The May's decision was "developmental" in nature. Pittman develops talent better than Caldwell.....plus Athens is undefeated as a college town!

Define "irony"....a troll not realizing he himself was the one being trolled.

It's a bit like a fourth-wall break inside a fourth-wall break. Does that much incipient stupidity somehow morph into some transient and unique form of genius?

For the record, Sam Pittman has 5 former players in the NFL on rosters by my count since 2011, since that's what you're basing Caldwell's numbers on. Clemson has 2.

Caldwell: One guy is on the practice squad, one guy on IR.
Pittman: Backup, IR, IR, starter, starter. But only one of those 5 played at Georgia.

Mays clearly didn't pick clemson because he doesn't want to play in the big12

Don't blame dabo. Blame baker Mayfield for being such a dooche

If by "immediately" you mean August 2018, then yes. They can only practice before that.
