1. Coach Dabo brought him in and I can't help but wonder why you would question his decision.
2. If you dislike Terry so much, why would you want him to go to Coach Jeff's staff. Seems we at Clemson would want all the success for Jeff and that program (unless playing Clemson of course)

Joking about the depth that has been created on our staff

There was a time when no one would imagine that Terry Bowden would be an unpaid grad assistant on our staff or that Jeff Scott could be his boss as head coach at another school. I think this just goes to show you what a tough and unpredictable job coaching football can be.
Yes, he's ribbing Terry some, but come on, he was head coach at Auburn...

i assume this was supposed to be sarcastic/funny. it was neither. but, if you look at it without whatever bias you have, it wouldn't be a bad move. Jeff's budget is somewhat limited and Terry prob doesn't need the $$$ jeff has brad in a woody Mccorvey type role, but its always good to have a seasoned veteran coach on the sidelines, one who has seen it all. certainly, Terry has had some issues, but he's a good if not better football coach, with a name that still resonates in Fla. Jeff and Brad have had a year to vet him, his coaching style, and the fire in his (ample) belly. have had the chance to talk to him a few times around the football complex and he is, on that level, a pretty likable guy.
