Should be. Just surprised they didn't get the benefit of the doubt.

Personally, I don’t think Baylor, Penn St. Florida, Utah

or Wisconsin could beat them on a neutral field. I doubt Auburn or UGA could win in best of 5 series. Not a fan of Saban. Yes their defense is clearly not what it has been previously. But their skill positions are incredible

People forget Tua is out for the season. This isn't the same Bama team.

No, but they've had no problem scoring with Mac Jones

at QB. Their offense is now just an ~8.5/10 instead of a 10/10.

Alabama's post game win expectency against Auburn

was like 94%. It took two pick-sixes (including a most improbable 100 yard butt pick), an Auburn FG that never should've been attempted, a Bama doinked FG, and a trick substitution stunt for Auburn to pull that game out. Bama's defense wasn't really as bad in that game as it's been made out to be either. Auburn had 354 total yards and average a pretty modest 5.4 yards per play.
I'm fine with where Bama is ranked since this is ultimately a resume ranking and Bama's resume isn't very good, but they would still be favored over probably everyone in the country except the top 3 teams.

That’s a good assessment and I agree that Bama is better than #12. Don’t really understand why they got hit so hard.

Agree with you the Auburn loss was really just a fluke.
However, I don't think they would be favored against UGA with Mac Jones at QB.
