My expectations are very simple for the BB program.

Be competitive. I don't need to win them all. Or expect us to get to final four or be in the show every year.
I just want to know that on a given night, with a few breaks - we can upset a ranked team. That the other team has to respect us and play a good game to win.
Losing by 30 to Pitt was bad enough. But losing by 30 to a bad UNC team is just not acceptable.
UNC has no guards, yet we cannot control them. We are making mcadoo look like the number 1 player in the country. We are making their center who cannot even jump - look like a great player.
So what is our offensive or defensive philosophy?
I look at teams like Butler, or JMU, etc. they don't get better players then Clemson. Yet they have their day.
When will be our day?

I agree with the talent comment. But was Belmont, UAB, wake, Miami and Texas - more talented than UNC? Nope, yet they took care of business against the heels.

agreed....it's all about the talent level

and the more talented team is going to win the vast majority of the time...we don't have the talent level of NC....very very rarely have...if ever and probably won't ever...not a slam on BB...but the fact is NC will never have the talent on a consistent basis of Clemson in football...we care about football...they care about basketball.

They DID beat a ranked team. Duke? Frankly that is way more than I expected going into this year. Still pissed that we played so badly the last two games but this program is moving forward.
