Memorial Day remembers

Those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Too often I hear the "Happy Memorial Day" and "Thanks for your service" when that is not what Memorial Day is about. Many already know this, but just for clarity, here is the best way to remember the days our great nation has set aside to remember the men and women who serve through military service:

Armed Forces Day - recognizes those who wear the uniform.

Veteran's Day - recognizes those who once wore the uniform.

Memorial Day - remembers those who never made it out of uniform.


I am thankful so many gave so freely all that they had so I could have this day with the freedoms we share.

treat today the same as Veterans Day, etc. which is wrong to do.
