think Falwell was wrong and just want him to go away. If you throw in the actual progressive students that attend the school (which shocks me) you might approach 100%.

I’ve seen literally 0 people defending Jerry on his actions.

ALL screwed up by not blaming his behavior on his strokes and heart problems in 2018. Having watched him for years and knowing people on faculty there, the strokes had a major impact. His speech was affected. I am sure his cognitive abilities were affected as well.

The smart, easy out when this stuff came to light (WAY before he was fired) was to blame it on the stroke and heart.

That way, your narrative is "good Christian man makes poor decisions following stroke induced impairment" rather than a battle that embarrasses everyone involved.

But, alas, absolute power corrupts and Falwell and LU LOVED their proximity to power in the Trump administration.

Oh well.
