Non catch. Every time they show it it’s always in slow motion making it seem like he had it forever. In actual time he may have had it two seconds or less. But, as mumbo points out, the result of the ref call was a fourth down punt whereupon OSU took it down the field and scored. The only difference is the time it took to do that. So no, it was NOT the difference in the ball game.

after we punted, Fields threw his first interception of the night on the next possession. we punted after that and they scored on that possession.

but who's to say what would have happened had things gone differently there. at the end, their defense was gassed and we were moving the ball at will with multiple options wide open.
