Good morning everybody. How was your weekend?

Friday night, went to Connoley's and Trappe Door with some co-workers. Discovered just how bad at throwing darts I am.
Saturday went for some people watching at the toy convention. Man, some of that stuff from the 80s is really valuable to some folks. Mutts BBQ for lunch, then off to Shoeless for a bit/
Sunday Spartanburg brewery day. Went to New Groove, Plankowner, Cyclopis and Holiday.

Played bball at church and 2 9th graders beat me in 2 on 1 but I owned them in horse and pig.

Some days I miss my childhood fort in the woods
Was soooo lucky to have acres of woods and a creek of just the right size behind the house I grew up in. I hope the kids that live on my old street appreciate what they have.

Seeing as how I don't remember that much, it wasn't that eventful.
Saturday morning got up for a run but it was raining and miserable so I hit the gym for a BodyPump session with the other ladies and then a 4.5 miler on the treadmill. Squats and Lunges are killing me today. Lunch at Nishie G's, the usual Saturday spot, then the grocery store to spend all my money on food. Got Christmas Decorations down since it was raining and we ended up putting everything out. Tree is decorated and we are festive as fu>ck right now. Intermittent playing with puppies (canines, not the real fun ones) which is nice.
Sunday up with momma dog cause she is tired of puppies and wants to be my dog again. Put on Star Wars New Hope and tried to watch but the kids woke up and I had to turn it off cause can't hear dialogue. Skipped church and went to lunch and to get Family pictures made. Coached U-10 kids church basketball team practice even though I'm not the coach...probably gonna be before season starts and then home for dinner and more puppy (canine) time. Sleeps and then...
Momma dog whining at 3:00 AM to get food, water, attention, poop, anything. Been at work since around 6:00.

Friday: had the house to myself. Did a little work, watched TV, and had a couple of cold ones.
Saturday: helped a friend move. Watched football, had wings and beer. Early to bed because I’m old.
Sunday: worked around the house some. Napped. Watched football.
8/10.

Friday night drank and slapt.
Saturday woke up and helped fix a real breakruss for the kids. Oldest and I went to make a Publix run for my mom. Went to her house and did all the normal stuff (garbage out, check mail, treat water, yadayada). Came back and did the Publix run for the Tiggity family. Sunday went to church and lunch. Went to see dad and took him the latest Clemson magazines.
Would rather have gone hunting Saturday, but rain.
Clemson beat the shitoutta Open Date, so that's good.
Overall 7.1/10

Mom, brother, sister in law, and nephew came to visit on Friday and Saturday. Got to hang out and relax with them.
Yesterday played in a charity golf tournament, got a good buzz going, and won it!
Last night ate some good BBQ and watched some football.

Relaxing.

Friday, walked pup, made pizza, drank beers, fell asleep in the Big Chair watching TV.
Saturday, chores, watched a little football, visited RH Mom for a couple of hours, quick sandwich then off to LOUD rock and roll jam. Went from 6-12, so much LOUD music was played, including an off the cuff version of the Elvis classic Burnin' Love done in distortion-laden Neil Young & Crazy Horse style.
Sunday, long morning walk with the pup, trip to grocery, home to watch second half of Panties game...which was at least exciting to watch. Left as soon as the game ended for the Thirsty Beaver to see the Truckstop Preachers, who were awesomely raunchy as always. Great music and Nathan the singer ALWAYS entertains me to no end. Home to eat Pad Thai, watch Walking Dead, and yet again fell asleep in the Big Chair.
On a relaxation scale of 1-10, the weekend was unicorns doing yoga under a glorious rainbow while wind chimes tinkle softly in the breeze

Remove plastic wrap, take off cover, microwave frozen plastic bowl for 4 minutes, let sit for 2 minutes, consume.
I offered to stop, but Mrs. Tig just wanted to head home after the show, so I ate this because it was almost 9:00 and I did not want to cook or clean. That said, I was very surprised at how good this was for a frozen thing. Will buy again.

Sunday grocery run was the first time I'd ever seen these.

Figured I'd give it a try, because sandwich every day at lunch during the week gets old. For a frozen quickie meal, this thing turned out to be pretty decent. I was a little suspicious because Pad Thai noodles aren't typically very good from a frozen meal, but these turned out way better than expected. It could have used a tiny bit more peanut sauce, maybe some crushed peanuts in it, but now that I know what I'm dealing with I can make a few easy additions. I'm not crazy about frozen meals to begin with, but I usually try things that are interesting because having one or two palatable quick meals in the freezer saves a lot of pain and effort for nights like last night. The Mrs. keeps a few of the Healthy Choice Power Bowls in the freezer to take to school, but those aren't very tasty to me.

When I want heat in Asian food, I used the jar of hot spices that celtic_tiger® gave me a couple of years ago. It doesn't take much at all, so it's lasted a LONG time.

I can't stand Sriracha.
Yep those spices last a long time since you only need a pinch. I finally had to buy another jar a month or so ago.

jumped on the bandwagon at one point and put out a Sriracha-flavored version of their offering. It never was my first choice even before it became popular. Lingham’s Chili sauce is probably my favorite. I also like Jufran Hot Banana Sauce, but it's not something you can use on everything. Works perfectly on Filipino food though.

the banana sauce it sounds interesting.
I keep the old regulars here. The Thai chili powder that you have, Louisiana, Valentina, Pickapeppa and Cholula Chili Lime.
Always on the look out for others though.

APM has had better but he still has his health (knock wood).

Friday - Was looking forward to hanging with Mrs. PAW and watching our Netflix shows, but as soon as we sat down she started getting alerts that she'd been hacked and she spent most of the night on the phone shutting down our bank account, etc.
Satdee - got a run in, watched some good EPL for a while, then headed over to Salem, VA to get my ears lowered. Met henry for coffee and he gave me some fine Indiana cerveza that APM will share with select Lungeites, then APM spent about 2 hours at the bank with Mrs. PAW getting the hacking stuff straightened out. Then APM did some work, then watched some meaningless (i.e., no Tigers) football while Mrs. PAW kept working on the aftermath of the hacking. Weather sucked but APM was never out in it really. Had some delicious Udon noodles and tempura for dinner. Bed.
Sunday - the usual. Church, the Y, dinner was delish - spaghetti with red sauce and eggplant and spaghetti carbonara. APM cannot resist a good carbonara. Bed.
6/10. Getting hacked is a pain. No Tigers sucks.

Spent some time at the shooting range Friday, was a nice little stress reliever. Looking forward to the range in Seneca finally opening up after 3 years of teasing us. Battled traffic home, made me hate everyone again.
Absolutely nothing Saturday, just sat around and watched the rain. Got pissed and shat on, and our big dog decided he was going to go all Paul Johnson blocking scheme on me and take out my knees. They're still sore. Other than that I just watched a bunch of bahamas crossing videos and boat reviews.
Got a Christmas tree Sunday. What a major PITA. Looks good though. Cut grass for the final time, cleaned up some leaves, and that pretty much concluded my weekend.

Friday: Myfavjr. and I went to pond to "freshen" up deer corn. Watched ducks passing to roost. Stopped by store and cooked for Myfavmom and jr. They watched Home Alone and have not heard my mom laugh like that in years!!!
Saturday: worked a little. Jr. and I went to beach to see the Pirate Voyage. He enjoyed it. Texted by a fellow TNetter and they were also at beach. Stopped by to see them and had a great time before attending show. Played two putt-putt game with jr. before stopping by Krispy Kream to satisfy his appetite.
Sunday: Got up early and we went to the beach and went to the pier. Ate breakfast before heading back. Later took jr. to mom's house. Went home, cleaned up, ate before finding a good book to read before bed time.

Friday: Spend all evening cleaning the house for the party
Saturday: getting ready for son of's birthday party. Septic tank springs a leak. Party was good. Minus the raw sewage in the yard.
Sunday: Spent all day making a test run on the hog pit with a boston butt. Went pretty well.
Also the first weekend in 2 years I didn't have one beer.... It sucked.
