If USuC had a #### Ring of Honor who would be in it?

I've been seeing some #### fans on here try to say that they have as much football tradition as we do. I honestly know next to nothing about their football program. Can someone please educate me on the long storied tradition and history that is the USuC football dynasty? Thanks in advance.

Agreed! I was there in 1980 when that big sucker lit us up for about 160-180 yards. We couldn't stop him between the 20's, but Carlen kept passing in the redzone, throwing those passes in the flat to Willie Underwood, Ha...Ha...! I wasn't at the "dirty willie" in 1979, but as I recall, he rushed for 150+ against our (pretty good) defense that game, as well. Seems like he was a stud in the NFL for a couple of years, if my memory (Saints or Chargers, maybe?)is correct.

Well, seeing how their best player and Heisman winner is a crack head (George Rodgers), I'd vote the University of Florida's own: Steve Spurrier.

A Heisman trophy winner is better than anybody Clemson could put up. You need to do some research before you post stuff like that.

This is a serious question though. I'm not going to research anything South Cootalina. In fact, I've created a program that will wipe my hard drive if I correctly spell South Car0lina. Clearly I'd never do that and therefore someone must have gained access to my machine. Since I can't properly do a Google search I need the resident coots to help me out. A Hiesman winner is a good start. What year was that?

Their "storied" program is just that, a huge story with nothing of significance to speak of or to write about. Try as they might, even they can't muster up anything more significant than lately being good enough to beat their state rival who has been having a down time in its history. That soon will change. Sorry coots, that's about all there is to it.

Simply, this is not yet our finest hour, but it has been theirs. Dabo, himself, said the same thing about them. We are making great progress, and we have improved our talent level, but we have lost several times to the coots. Not our finest hours in those games, and while I don't regard them as all that important, it is fun to whip them regularly. Also, our BCS appearance was not a good showing, at all. We are getting there, though, and graduating players with character and class. Lots and lots of things to write home about at Clemson. All JMHO, however.

George Rogers , who was a bust on the NFL level. Jadeveon Clowney...as long as someone else spelss hiz name and. reads the acceptance speach. Joe Morrison. Sterling Sharpe. Maybe Lattimore... That was tough. An easier list would be the. #### Ring of Dishonor.
