Personally, lucky for him that I'm not a Clemson coach bc, what he said about being late with an offer sounded to me like he gave Clemson an ultimatum, and that wouldn't fair very well for me. Just saying, and I could have miss understood his meaning, but I don't think so!!!

It works both ways....colleges are telling him they're filling up at the RB slot and that if he waits too long they might not have space for him. This is why he feels pressure to commit somewhere soon-I'm guessing that's what he means

You can be a little more selective in getting the best people for your program..What a great spot to be in

Of course we have to be selective with limited scholarships. White is clearly who we want but all signs point to Georgia. I hope the coaches know something that the recruiting analysts don't. If White is 50/50 or better for us, keep up the pressure. If he's trending toward Georgia, we need to move on and not lose out on other quality backs.

If we loose him to Duke, it's over. Hello 35 more years. Just kidding. Best of luck to him and Go Tigers.

Teague is not White. Do we offer him? Where do we stand on White? We got lucky last year that Etienne was available. I know we are in on 2019 Devyn Brown but he also has mentioned Georgia and will visit UNC. What kids see in these programs are a mystery to me.

For the rest of old timers out there and fans of the "Toy." Why do I keep thinking of Master Bates? No one under 30 can comment without watching the movie first.

I like Teague a lot. Maybe more than White.

He's bigger and has almost as much speed. Not as shifty, but we've got plenty of shifty players. Teague is a true bruiser that can run through people. He is the back that I want.

Ive watched his film too. Teague wants to commit before White announces his choice. White is going to Georgia. Why we aren't offering Teague most likely knowing that White is gone is a mystery.

His & Elliott's statements says NoTHING

And were Ambiguous at best. Still think we are holding out (hope) for another and as this young man said, wait more than a week or two & he can't see Clemson catching up in his decision.

I thought the same thing. I didn't read anything negative whatsoever in what Master or Coaches said in that article. This guy has risen to the top of my personal board (I'm sure he would care so much to know that lol) of available RBs. Like him more & more. Come be a Tiger big boy

I have family in Murfreesboro, TN and my all of my nephews attended Blackmon HS. Word on the street is that this kid is a "freak" and is better than advertised. Good kid, good student and exceptional athlete. Blackmon plays in the one of the top conferences in the State and Teague is a man among boys. You may remember a guy out of Blackmon a few years back..I'Tavius Mathers who played at Ole Miss...Teague is better by all accounts.
He would be a huge get for Clemson...and he REALLY likes the Tigers.

So far, Dabo and crew have been great at succession planning
May 13, 2017, 1:46 PM

And Dabo ain't going anywhere anytime soon.
That being said, something tells me it is in all our interests to keep Tony Elliot and Jeff Scott in the succession plan. It takes a level of selflessness to be co-Coordinators from a career perspective, but not only do they accept it, they thrive in it both on gameday and on the recruiting trail.
