8 handles of Kentucky Gentleman

Oct 4, 2019, 3:11 PM

Next question

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I used to down that stuff man

Oct 4, 2019, 3:16 PM

Then one day I got to the lake and attempted to drink a beer (I was a Busch Light guy at the time) and immediately threw up a bunch of blood. No telling how much Kentucky Gentleman I had drank the night before, but it was enough to rek my tummy apparently. Couldn't drink alcohol at all for a few weeks after, and really didn't drink liquor again for years. Even now I keep it to a couple of glasses of bourbon or a gin and tonic.

Thanks for listening

Tanqueray and some Bulleit

Oct 4, 2019, 3:18 PM

I'd have to hide the Tanqueray though, since my wife is still pissed at me for getting absolutely shitfaced drunk off of gin and tonics at the last wedding we went to. In my defense, I usually don't scream at random people when drinking, that was a one off event, so I think she'd being a little childish about it.

Half a bottle of Don Julio 42. Would finance the rest over 72 months at 18.5% interest.

Did the math really quickly. That $79 balloons to $1324 and then 72 months gets you at about $20 a month for 6 years.

Worth it every time.

One whole Ben Franklin, eh? Well, let's get to spending.

Oct 4, 2019, 3:35 PM

Meh.

Maybe some Goslings or Myers rum.
Maybe some Famous Grouse.
Maybe some Tanqueray.
Maybe some Grey Goose.

If I have a cold, maybe some bourbon for a toddy.

Or better yet, just keep the Benjamin.

I have no idea, it isn't the money that usually causes me issue at the liquor store, it is the lack of what I want to buy.

Depends on the status of my likker cabinet

Oct 5, 2019, 12:38 PM

But here's a list (depending on what's needed)

Eagle Rare
Basil Hayden
Jack
Old Forester
Crown Royal
Tito's
Don Julio anejo
Bacardi light and dark
Maybe a Macallan 15 or Glenlevet
Sweet Tea Vodka

Those are my most drunk likkers. Right now I'm out of Basil Hayden and low on Don Julio

Every answer is about quantity over quality and I like that.

Handle of Uncle Henry
Jameson
Bailey’s
Vodka
Black rum

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

that was my primary aim for posing the question.....

Oct 5, 2019, 2:12 PM

to see if there would be more $20/bottle bang-for-buckers - or - $100/bottle top-shelfers.
Was pleased with results. Kind of opposite of the entrenched Lunge beer snobbery.

Plus I was actually headed to the Red Dot yesterday afternoon.
And glad to see there are a couple Grand Marnier sippers out there <img border=">
