Long and hard to find a better broadcast analyst than Pete Yanity. I never like to critique the Tigers decision makers but someone erred when Pete was released.

Conflict between him being the voice of the Tigers and his performance as sports announcer at WSPA. I believe Clemson wanted him to be more pro-Clemson in his reporting and he wanted to stay more neutral because he had to cover all the schools in the state.

That could be true. He is a very knowledgeable guy who should never left our broadcast booth. I hate to listen to “Homer’s” regardless of their passion. He really knows that he games . Knows the sports world and is very well versed.
