This week's visit

His Tweet also said he would sign Feb 6. Sounds like going to College might be the choice over MLB.

He won't choose CFB or MLB until June. I'm leaning towards him playing CFB now but we will see what happens this weekend.

Yes and no

I think last night will have an impact on him choosing Clemson instead of playing baseball.
However, I think that Dabo turned his focus immediately on recruiting this morning and emphasized to Jerrion that they don't like hosted recruits on OVs if they are still committed to another school. I think that is why he decommitted now, since he is visiting this coming weekend.
Also, what a great weekend to have an official with the parade!

My concern is if he later decides on MLB and is no more than 1 and done. A 4* or better OL or DL would still be nice. It's not like we don't have some RB talent.

It was reported that if he was going MLB route,

he'd stay committed to Ole MI$$. I think it was Strelow, he said DeCommitting would be a sign.

No concern for me

A talent like Ealy is worth the risk. Especially since we have ETN, Feaster (probably), Dixon, and Mellusi already for next year.
Also, what do you mean by "1 and done"? Once he enrolls at Clemson, he can't leave for the MLB or NFL until after 3 years.

team, he can leave anytime he wants.
The rule pertains to rostered baseball players.

High school players, if they have graduated from high school and have not yet attended college or junior college; College players, from four-year colleges who have either completed their junior or senior years or are at least 21 years old; and Junior college players, regardless of how many years of school they have completed

Ealy commits to playing fb, it will be at Clemson. He reminds me a little of Adam Choice.
