This has got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. They are unfortunately the standard in college football. Beating them in the national championship would mean more than beating any other team. This would be like saying the Yankees hurt baseball or the Patriots hurt the NFL. Every sport needs that one team that everyone either loves or hates. Bama is that team in college football. Nothing wrong with that.
