Coots probably got a decent shot at getting him...

They did just hire his former elementary school coach as part of Beamer’s staff.

I’ve been hearing from one of his high school coaches that he really likes Clemson, Florida, and Oregon

I think Penn St, Tennessee and Arizona St offer every high school recruit in the country.

You are correct. These offer numbers are available online. When we offer 65-70 in any given class, I know PS offers over 270 for the class. Their offers just mean less and they still can't win.

although that may change under Beamer.
They typically offer anyone under 80 that hasn't been dead more than four days.

Why are those two words in the same sentence ? If this kid is for real this shouldn't be issue.

Must be a real hard decision between the Tigers & Shamecocks?! Whatever...must be afraid of competition if he’s seriously considering that crap hole school with us.

Two things worry me here..,
He’s considering the Gamecocks...at this point - our programs are on such divergent paths ...we really shouldn’t be in the mix for the same players..maybe the kid grew up a Gamecock fan...
It worries me when a TE seems to be stating up front he doesn’t want to block.... We’ve proven we can put TE’s in the NFL.. but I don’t recall us ever saying blocking wasn’t part of the equation....

How many games did Greer play?

Cause 400 yards and 6 TD's aren't exactly mindblowing for a guy who wants time at WR. Gotta assume severely shortened schedule.

No offense to the kid but if it’s a “choice” between u of 6c and Clemson something is wrong. They are one of the worst Power 5 schools all time. You telling me it’s a hard choice between a team that consistently wins 10+ games, the ACC, and makes the playoffs or a team that’s one 1 conference championship, has a losing bowl record, and is 19 losses away from .500. Come on man. You can get playing time at Coastal too if that’s the hang up. Shoot you have more wins than if you went to cootland too.
