Hmmm, doesn't seem like that long ago the coots

went on and on and on about how Dabo doesn't care about his players because he played DW4 with a torn ACL against the coots. What they say now?

Sorry for Hilinski!
BUT WHAT? A minor ACL tear and back in 4-6 weeks? There is no minor ACL tear. Possibly a partial tear, but still not minor.
Gamecock quarterback Ryan Hilinski to have surgery Dec 3, 2019 10:52 AM EST Mike Gillespie COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Sources confirmed to ABC Columbia Tuesday that Gamecock Quarterback Ryan Hilinski suffered a torn ACL and torn meniscus.
Hilinski will likely have surgery this week.
According to the source, Hilinski suffered the injury during the Georgia game on Oct. 12. The source also tells ABC Columbia the tears are minor, and Hilinski is expected back in 4-6 weeks.
The quarterback played through multiple injuries this season, including some sort of elbow injury. USC and Hilinski looked in to Tommy John surgery, but ultimately decided to only have the procedure done on his knee.
Hilinski’s injury now puts USC’s offensive woes this season into some perspective. The Gamecocks finished 96th in total offense and 75th in passing offense.

from Coot fans bashing Dabo for playing DW4 on a torn ACL "just to end the streak."

Or the post game interview Saturday, when he was sked if Hilinski was playing hurt. He got mad at the question and put it on the Medical staff said he's ready to play. Seems he was lying just a little bit.

They buried the lead... They have looked into Tommy John

The article almost has a throw-away line at the bottom that they also looked into TJ surgery for his elbow. If he has something wrong with the UCL, better to fix it now rather than to have a nagging injury for the next several years.
That aside, this just goes to show you how little Muschamp and that staff thought of Dak Joyner. They were playing for nothing and still running a kid out there with a partial ACL and meniscus?? If he had torn that ACL all the way, then you lose him for the spring when you need to develop him further. Goes to show that Muschamp was just trying to save his job.

Why would any quality or talented HS player want to go there? It cannot just be PT.

What this tells us is that they have absolutely no depth at QB. Not that we didn't know this already.

A small tear? Huh? It's like Dr Robert DeSilva told me when I tore my ACL, "There no such thing as a partial tear. You either tear it or you don't. It's like being a little bit pregnant."

Partial tears are called sprains. If the doc says it is torn, it ain't attached no more. From seeing him limp I figured he would be getting it scoped shortly after the season, but a torn ACL is a surprising diagnosis considering how long he has been hobbling around on it. But heck, you can live your whole life with a torn ACL, just not going to be doing the electric slide.
