Yesterday, immediately following our game, the SECN folks were making a defense for Bama being #1 and Clemson #2, 3 or 4. The ACCN is arguing the opposite. Both ESPN networks are defending their own conferences, which is exactly what I would expect them to do.

I wouldn’t worry to much about the talking heads. They will sell to all fan bases, but at the end of the day, ESPN needs Clemson to be good with all the $$$ they have invested in the ACC. Besides, ESPN has nothing to do with the poll that really matters, which isn’t even out yet.

Having said that, I think we are 4th right now based on the season so far. This team is not last year’s team and hasn’t earned the #1 ranking. They shouldn’t be gifted it based off last year’s accomplishments.

Agree.

We can and will get better I am sure. Not sure if we can get good enough to run the table or not. Going into Raleigh will be tough, even though NCSU didn't show up at FSU. At the birds won't be easy either.

Surprised there are not 10 replies calling you a coot.

Until they start handing out Championships in September none of it matters.

Worrying about who's ranked #1, or #2, etc... right now is completely meaningless.
