Honestly that’s what it looked like to me. They don’t have any depth yet and they fatigued in the 2nd half on D because their O went into a 3 and out shell. Otherwise I thought they played well and with effort. The Ville and FSU are on the way back.

ND didn't force the one fumble that the QB kicked at the end of the first half. That was a killer after getting the turnover from the Irish.
Nice effort from the Ville.

He's had the same S&C coordinator since South Florida

and he was a big problem at Oregon. I'm not saying S&C is the same as hydration issues, but the players who sued from Oregon complained about not having access to water and faced serious medical issues as a result.

Living/practicing in the heat doesn't really help with anything if you aren't hydrated.
Reason why they didn't hydrate adequately...well no one knows.

Must've been following the Bama conditioning program for the CFP.

I didn't see the FSU game and have not seen the replay, but FSU players were terribly out of shape last year. Anybody could see that, and it falls on the coaching, Taggert himself.
Louisville was another team out of shape last year, but their players seemed to be much better conditioned last night.

Taggart's inability to make halftime adjustments didn't help either.

Told my Dad that during the game. Those boys still have quit in their blood, and looked terribly out conditioned
