Every year

Aug 21, 2018, 12:08 PM

We seem to have one game where we aren’t ready to play. Hopefully,we have learned from the Pittsburg,Syracuse,NCSU etc games and will be ready for four quarters every Saturday. I wonder how the coaches
will overcome this mental lapse that we have at times? It is kind of scary to hear all the talking head experts claim for our Tigers to be a shoo in for the title games. Wonder how the players handle that? This is going to be an interesting and exciting season for a lot of reasons. One thing for sure..... our team will likely be the most talked about team in America. Feels good doesn’t it?

Player leadership....that will be the key

The coaches can only do and say so much, it will be up to the players to lead and set the example for every game and to take every one seriously. Wilks, Bryant (both), Dexter, Mitch and Hunter will all be the key to making sure the other players take each game one at a time.

Cartographer. Leadership is always a key ingredient in success and we are blessed with some great ones. Developing Some new ones as the year progresses will be a key as well because we lose a lot this year. It’s going to fun to watch who is preparing to take over.

I think the difference is experience

We have a lot of veteran leaders this year who will make sure the younger players aren't taking anything for granted.

That being said, there's a reason nobody has gone 15-0 yet...it's really difficult to do.

Well, the good thing is that t-net has given our coaches all the info they need to make the right decisions. After that, it's a cake walk into victory lane. They can thank us later.

Old adages ring true for a reason. They have scholarship players and coaches, that's why they play it on the field.
