It is hard to find fault with Dabo. He has consistently adrressed problems and fixed them. The list is amazing if you look at it:
1. Fired Rob Spence immediately 2. Did not retain Vic Koening due to lack of loyalty 3. Fired Billy Napier 4. Hired Robbie Cladwell/improved line play 5. Recruited WR's that could catch and not drop balls 6. Kept CJ for an extra yr (and gave him 20 carries/game) 7. Kept Ellington for an extra yr 8. Fired Steele 10.Hired Morris 11.Hired Venables 12.Immproved and contines to recruit at elite level 13.Has become biggest ACC media darling sine Booby Bowden 14.Encouraged Harbison to look elsewhere 15.Won ACC Championship 16.Went to BCS Bowl 17.Won National Coach of the Year
Quite a bit of work in 4 yrs.
If he could only add a string a victories against SC no one in their right mind could question his leadership and decision making ability. I think in time he will be one of the best CEO type HC in the country. His success will depend on loyal support and loyal funds that give him the abilty to do whatever it takes. In my oppinion, our future success depends as much on fans, IPTAY and admistation as it does him. It is a shame that Spurrier has better support from that classless crowd than someone of Dabo's character and success has of ours.
