ACC!!! ACC!!! ACC!!! ...who cares??

Sep 16, 2010, 6:06 PM

Whoever this 'moderator' was is obsessed with conference vs. conference. Honestly, I don't understand why all of the focus boils down to which conference is better than which. Each conference has it's strong teams and its weak teams. Is Duke representing the ACC this weekend? Will that indicate how good Miami is going to be this season? NO!!! I get strength of schedule, but if you watch the games, you know whether TCU or Tennessee would win, regardless of which conference they're in.

I'd like to see Clemson beat Auburn, but I wouldn't mind if Stanford beat Wake. I live in the Greensboro area and Wake fans are just ridiculous. Does that make me a bad fan? NO, I'm a Clemson fan, not an ACC fan. I guess the SEC has had such a strong group of top programs, it's turned into a marketing strategy since TV contracts are such big $$ now. It literally has nothing to do with the individual games. Why bother Dabo with such meaningless questions?? That said, he answered it perfectly!

I also like how he turned around the Auburn environment worshipping to talk about Death Valley and it's going to be kinda like being a visitor at DV. (DV I think is a bigger factor, but that's another arguement.)

One point that this interview made me think about was our 3 and outs and short possessions against NT. Seems like the hurry up offense (with difficulty in subbing and run vs. pass vs. scramble) could wear on our defense. If we can't eat up some clock even on our unsuccessful drives, our defense is going to have a long day.

Go Tigers!!!! (CU of course)
CU- 27
AU- 21
