I am here for the game thread. A little late...had Eli running around the stadium but now that he is tired and his momma has him I am in the press box. Top 3rd, no score here but Liberty threatening with two runners on base.

I sure hope this is just first game jitters for weatherly, but if we go by history, it looks like more of the same for him. He has outstanding stuff but just can’t control it.

Meanwhile, softball holds a 4-1 lead over Maryland. Rittman with the squeeze play earlier in the game to bring across a run. Loved it

Sam Weatherly has given up a double and he's hit two batters this inning and the bases are loaded with one out. He's also walked five in the game.

Clemson defeats Maryland 5-1 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge in softball. Valerie Cagle with another good effort. The win represents Clemson's first win over a P5 team this season

That’s an effective day ERA-wise, but if your #1 starter throws over 100 pitches in 4 complete, it’s gonna be challenging for the bullpen.
