This guys is probably one of the biggest Clemson haters i've ever seen. How is Dabo's comment about 'Nuk needing another year', trashing?

he then said that hes going to be a great pro and would take him in the first round knowing what he knows about him

Dabo did nothing to trash Nuk: All he said was if a kid isn't graded as a 1st Rounder, he advises them to stay. Big deal, 99% of coaches would say the same thing.

this is a non issue
its no secret that he s projected as a 2nd rounder and its no secret that dabo says anyone who is not projected a 1st rounder needs to come back
basically he said what everybody already knew
i didnt see the press conference but im guessing someone asked him..so i doubt he voluntarily just said it to take a jab at nuk

Who cares what the recruits think about Nuk's draft prospects? Dabo's point is justified in long term financial reasoning. If you can get locked into first round $, you are much better off than one more year of income at a 2nd or 3rd round salary. Its that simple.
If Nuk was projected as a 1st round pick and Dabo said, "I dont think he's good enough to be a 1st rounder." Then thats an issue, but thats not the case. Dabo is just pointing out that next year he will have a better shot at that 1st round $.

First of all, the entire comment from Dabo is dripping with praise for Nuk. The comment about needing one more year is about getting to the first round. How do I infer this? Because he said that Nuk will be not only good but great in the NFL and have a very long career. Clearly his only concern is his draft status.
So actually, he's praising him more than almost anyone, because almost EVERYONE has said that Nuk might as well go this year since he probably won't improve his draft status next year. Dabo thinks he would.
Carville is a horse's backside. His agenda is pathetic.

We all would love Nuk to stay. But since he decided to leave I think Dabo should only support that decision 100% publicly.
My opinion is not the one that matters. It's future Clemson football players that I care about.

Dabo is one of the most respectable coaches in college football with his ethics and honesty. I still think it is improper for any coach to say this simply because you are telling the NFL the guys is not ready for prime time. The coach could be correct but the kid made his decision to leave. So what is the benefit to underscore his need for another year to develop before going pro? Again, if DABO says it, then it only goes to show he is human after all.

i think all he means is that unless you're in the group of people guaranteed to get guaranteed money the in the form of a huge signing bonus, you're better off finishing school and leaving with a degree in hand.

He had a article on the 2 Georgia recruits that decomitted from Clemson on the AJC with a blog. I made a comment about that and said Mr. Carvell like to write only negative articles concerning Clemson and was very bias...Well my comment was not accepted.....What a bias wimp!

He has said this before and after Nuk's decision, "If you get a first round grade then take it, if not stay here and improve." Makes sense to me.
