Best of luck Chad. Thanks for giving it your all, not complaining when you seemed to be underutilized, and making grades. I hope other players with straight God given talent can learn from you. You are what Clemson Football is all about. Hard work, determination, and a strong team mentality. You were the definition of "ALL IN!"

What a great Tiger. The AD should be trying to get him on staff. I think many generations of tigers could benefit from him as a coach/assiatant/trainer.

Chad, you lit up opposing players and have certainly nothing to be ashamed of for making the right choice for not pursuing a professional football career. We salute you.

Very surprising to pass up such a great opportunity in NFL

It shows an unbelievable amount of maturity and selflessness for someone like Chad to sacrifice and let go of a dream I'm sure he's had his entire life. That is very rare to see at such a young age. He definitely has the right perspective in life and I'm sure as he grows older, he will appreciate more and more the decision he is making, as money and fame become less important in life, and getting to live a healthy life with your family and watching your kids and grandkids grow up become most important.
I wish Chad all the best and with his work ethic and determination, I'm sure he'll be successful at whatever career path he chooses.

It seems to a novice, the medical field is just now beginning to understand the ramifications--both long and short term--of concussions the kind incurred by constant blows to the head such as those received in football.
Sincerely hope Chad suffers no long term effects.

..."dumb jock" out of the water when an athlete makes such a smart decison! Wish Chad, and his family nothing but the best in the future...hopefully on the Clemson staff in some fashion.
