do we really need the profanity filter?

we are all adults here. and hopefully we can all handle some naughty ####### language.
I get there are probably kids on this site, but I dont know if you guys have used the internet lately, but I don't think you have worry about tigernet exposing the kids to bad language. Theres plenty of it on other sites/apps/games that are doing a much better job of it. or have you guys not been in a call of duty lobby before?
just a random thought that crossed my mind. but whatever lol. GO TIGERS!

It may be a requirement of online ad companies. Since not everyone on tnet is a donor (ahem), they need the ads.

I used to, but I only ever use Tigernet during games and whatnot. I may donate again though.

I like the filter for multiple reasons, one of which is that it forces people to compose messages with more civility and decorum than the Call of Duty lobby or whatever. It prioritizes integrity, if only loosely.

Yes, I prefer not to read that garbage. What does filthy language really benefit anyone? It’s lazy and distasteful. You’re basically saying, everyone else is doing it, so why shouldn’t we? Kids read terrible stuff everywhere else, so why not here too? Come on man...

S?c?ri?pt. There. Although I can personally uncensor anything I want, I just choose not to use it for evil, lol.
