Sep 21, 2018, 1:52 PM

Are you talking about where Clemson has played? I don’t recall us playing at Kentucky

1981, pretty good year for us. Went to the Superdome to play Tulane that year as well.

Smallest in terms of like intensity/intimidation factor?

Definitely UGA if that's the case.

I don’t think we play at small venues away. The last I remember was at Boston College in the early 80’s, before they were in the ACC, the Doug Flutie years. We played Tulane away in 1981, but that was in the Superdome.

In 2006 we played a really bad Temple team in Charlotte in front of about 30,000.

Sep 21, 2018, 2:22 PM

Yep, Temple was the "Home" team but moved the game to Charlotte because they heard Clemson would sell out all the tickets. I was there supporting the Tigers. Where were you other 40,000 who didn't show?

Stadium Size: Silly As it sounds. Feeds ACC is inferior

Sep 21, 2018, 2:38 PM

In comparison to other power 5 conferences their stadiums tend to be bigger. The good players want the big time environment! It doesn't guarantee you anything; but voters and people who don't really know will always have this perception: "they care more"! If a school has a huge following and big stadium. Not to mention tv ratings and favor in the voting eye. It's a small piece of it; but a piece of what feeds the perception ACC schools aren't very good!

Wake Forest Stadium only holds

Sep 21, 2018, 2:20 PM

Wake Forest BB&T field only holds 31, 500. Duke just renovated so they are up to 40, 000. BC Alumni Stadium is 44, 000.

Or are you going for people in attendance?

We lost at KY in 1984. Terrible game - great BBQ at a horse

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

We.for sure, went to Kentucky. I remember going to the horse races in the afternoon. The game was at night. It was a great weekend.
