IF Clowney gets drafted by the Falcons will you have a problem with that or will you be excited?
For me as a Falcon fan, the day he signs his contract he'll no longer be a Gamecock to me - will have my full support as a Falcon (unless he mails it in like he did last year in Columbia).

Doesn't help that the Falcons need a DE really bad. Maybe the better question is would you be ok with them trading up to #1 for him?

This Clowney character reminds me a lot of Julius Peppers----all the talent in the world but didn't show up for all the plays. I predict Clowney will be a bust!!

Ask them how they feel about Matt Ryan....I hated him at BC as he beat us every year but as I can tell all Falcons fans loved him when they drafted him and took them to the playoffs

Yeah, he slacked of his last two years with the Panthers. But that had more to do with him being dissatisfied with the Panthers being content at being a below average team, than being a bust. Way too many good statistics. You sound like a Panther fan that's still mad that Peppers left. Below average, the path the Panthers are setting themselves up for again, with their complete negligence at ignoring the WR position.

I know the media is hyping a move by the Falcons to trade up, but I don't see it. Too many holes to fill on both sides of the ball.
I guess if for some bizarre reason it did happen, I'd pull for him eventually. I mean, I was a fan of John Abraham while he was a Falcon. Same deal there.

I think he will at the minumum have a good career. I have a problem with the number of draft picks that would be given up. Julio Jones is a great talent but I still think they gave up too much for him.

I am more disgruntled with the Falcons never drafting a stud DT over the years. Year in and year out.
But yeah, I really don't want the Falcons to draft the Clownman.
