I think having a big media event, getting the fans all worked up and then telling us he is leaving would be a little insensitive........If he is leaving, a simple tweet would suffice and we would wish him well......

I would hope he is the type of guy that turns this into an early 2013 season pep rally getting us jacked for next year.......

But we don't need a presser for him to explain why he is leaving for the NFL....we all pretty much get those reasons.

I hope they wheel out a big cake tomorrow at the presser. Then TB and Nuke pop out with their Clemson jerseys on....

I agree. The press conference makes you think he stays. Most don't have one to announce they are leaving. Look at Barkley, I think Tajh is going for the same thing.

When you're leaving and there are so many people to thank, you hold a press conference to explain your position and show your appreciation. It's a professional "goodbye". He's leaving.
