CLEMSON, S.C. – The NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship Round of 16 game between No. 7 Clemson (12-6-3) and No. 16 North Carolina (14-5-1) is set for 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30 at Historic Riggs Field. Ticket information for Sunday’s contest will be available on ClemsonTigers.com and on Twitter @ClemsonMSoccer as soon as it is available.

The Tigers, the No. 7 national seed, defeated No. 25 Coastal Carolina in the NCAA Second Round by a score of 2-1 on Monday night at Historic Riggs Field. Junior Paul Clowes and freshman Diego Campos scored the two Tiger goals in the win, while sophomore keeper Andrew Tarbell posted six saves in goal. The Tar Heels upset No. 10-seed Charlotte 2-1 in the second round on Sunday in Charlotte.

Earlier this season, the Tigers fell to then-No. 9-ranked North Carolina 3-2 in double overtime on Friday, Oct. 3 in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels netted the gamewinner on a penalty kick in the 102nd minute.
