Clemson's Golf Championship on CBS This Saturday

Clemson, SC--Clemson's National Championship victory at the NCAA Golf

Tournament in Stillwater, OK last May will be shown on CBS this

Saturday afternoon from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The network will do a

half hour on the men's tournament and half hour on the women's

tournament during that time slot.

Clemson won its first ever national championship in golf on

May 30 with a two-stroke victory over Oklahoma State on the Cowboys

home course (Karsten Creek). CBS followed the Clemson team all week

and taped interviews with Clemson players, parents, administrators

and Head coach Larry Penley during the tournament to provide an

inside look at college golf's national championship.
