Clemson Drug Testing Results for 2011-12 Academic Year

CLEMSON, SC - Each year the Clemson athletic department releases drug testing results from the previous academic year. Below is a statement from Associate Athletic Director Phil Grayson on the findings.

“In accordance with Section 12 of CUAD’s Drug Testing, Education and Counseling Policy, the following information is submitted to satisfy the annual reporting requirement.

From July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, at total of 832 drug tests were conducted on Clemson student- athletes. Of the samples collected, 2 returned a positive result for marijuana, cocaine, alcohol or steroids.”
