You'd almost have thought the ACC would have intervened when

Aug 19, 2022, 10:32 AM

Georgia Tech decided to limit the crowd size in our game with them in the Georgia Dome in a couple of weeks. Then you'd have remembered the ACC is a total joke and that thought would have passed.

I wouldn’t think that. It is Tech’s game to do as it wishes***

I would say limit GaTech to 100 tickets next year, but...

I think 50 of those would go unused.

Didn’t know where you were going with this …

That the ACC could’ve intervened and given UNC an extra year of probation for the worst academic cheating scandal in the history of the NCAA instead of coming to their rescue with Fox in the hen house John Swafford going to bat for them?

The ACC has nothing to with stadiums. This is a non issue.

Unfortunately, the real issue is they have nothing to do with anything. If we're counting on the current "leadership", including at the institutions, we are not going to keep up with the Big 10 and SEC. Yes Clemson is part of that leadership but at least we realize we are behind the 8 ball and need to be more aggressive. Even Willy B still has 45 k at the start of the second half. GT will have a new coach next year and maybe an AD too.

Bear w/ me. I'll exagerate to make a point. If Ga Tech had

said "no tickets are to be sold for this game". (I know, it's not gonna happen).

Would it still be a "non issue"?

I, for one, don't know how these contracts work between teams/conferences/stadiums. But I'm guessing a conference wouldn't agree to the above terms. At least, I would hope not. But, it IS the ACC.
