New Conference formed by
Clemson, FSU, GT, Miami, UNC, NC State, UVA, VT, Louisville
10 team conference, 9 conference game schedule!
We could play all 9 teams in the division + 1 team from other division, leaving 2 open for non conference games.
We could eventually become a division in a 20 team Super Conference.
I'd like being the southern division in BIG whose other 10 team conference consisted of...
OSU, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, USC, Washington, UCLA, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Iowa
I think FSU, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Miami and VT match up well with...
OSU, Michigan, Oregon, USC, PSU
This 10 team league should be worth way more than current ACC having added ND and by shedding the dead weights, could put these 10 teams in a comparable financial situation as BIG and SEC.

I think they would not do that unless they would receive more than $100 million/year from the conference - and I think the likelihood of that group of teams commanding an average of $100 million each is about zero.
ND is not yet in the $100 million league and has actually been faring badly as an independent, but they are about to renew a contract which will put them pretty close. - and if they wanted the $100 million number, all they have to do is join the B1G and it would be instant gratification.

I thought ND already extended their NBC football contract until 2029 six months ago for around 50 million in addition to the ACC money they get. They are already much closer than we are to SEC and BIG money.

ND still bring in more money than current ACC being divided by only 9?
Eventually dead weight teams in big 2 will be pushed away from the table making way for divisions comprised only of money making teams, this 9/10 teams would easily already be a division that could easily be bought in to either of the big 2.
