with that 3rd rate football team in Columbia? There are more threads on here about them than about the Tigers. I DON'T GET IT!!! Ignore them and they will go away.

I am not obsessed and sometimes wonder the same thing. But I live out of state and do not have to deal with the daily digs that I used to get from my coot friends. Guess most of my digs come from TN fans these days.

After retiring I went back to work, I work on the edge of uCs campus. I put up with it daily. Twice now I have had my Clemson Dice taken from my rear view mirror

Yep. That would make me angry. My parents had all their Clemson magnets stolen off their car in Charlotte at the acc championship game last year while we were at dinner. Not sure if it was a Clemson fan, UNC fan, or just someone playing tricks.

the coot n laws about owning them. I guess they won about 6 of them. Then they won the 5. Every year at their houses after those games, every tv in the house had a replay of the game on. All of them sported new Garnet shirts, caps, etc. I was given more advice than Carter had liver pills about what a bad choice Daybo was. About how the worm had turned. ABout how playing in the SEC toughens you up. About blah, blah, blah. Then DW. Well, I just spent 5 days at the beach with'em. Not one word about sports. Any sports.
If you don't live in South Carolina and you don't celebrate birthdays and holidays with them, you have no idea what we deal with.

Every single person in my family is either a Clemson fan, an Ohio State fan, or does not pay attention to football.
There was a bit of a feud between our family after we beat Ohio State in the Orange Bowl. A few folks did not speak for months. Lol. I was completely unfazed by the Ohio State propaganda they spewed because we won. They just got their little feelings hurt.

The implosion in Cootlumbia is going to be as historic as the success of Tiger football. We are entering the golden age of Tiger football, sit back and enjoy it while it lasts. Plus I just don't like Muschamp, never met the guy but I'm already imagining the tantrum he is going to throw when Dabo decides to make an in state recruiting statement at the end of the year. I felt he very civil with the Spurrier staff despite the jabbing, I don't get the same feeling with the current staff they have. Dabo knows about the 5 bombs, they are going to regret that dearly.

its that their loudmouthed, poorly-educated fanbase will never shutup despite losses to FCS schools, NCAA probations, athlete arrests, and the pathetic current state of their football program.....it was almost sad watching them defend Spurrier last year when he walked away mid-season from a looming 3-9 record....but its all they had to hold up to century+ long beatings administered by Clemson.
My advice is not to harangue them with reality, but be prepared to deflate their idiocy with facts whenever necessary

Truthfully, and what no one wants to say, it's because of that little streak they had. Before that, I had never seen it like this. Never seen people constantly updating when they get a recruit. Never seen so many people talking about them.
Scar fans rubbed it in every chance they had. They had shirts made, the whole Fear the Thumb thing, the 5 bomb in all the pictures. Since the time, most Clemson fans have been obsessed
