Because Dabo knows we are going to need ever single point we can muster to win this. Also, that drive was the result of an SMU turnover therefore it’s a sort of “free” drive.

Yeah but I’d argue that the chance of us getting points out of a 30+ yard field goal are actually lower than going for it based on our season…. Under 30 yards then it’s debatable but honestly I’m not comfortable with anything much longer than an extra point.
