I say Sammy. Nuk is about to get off to a great start & I expect him to surpass a thousand yards in his rookie season but I think Sammy's got an edge in breakaway speed, strength, & a slight edge in heart. For all three I think it will come down to who gets hurt less & longevity. Tajh certainly has the potential to put up huge numbers at the next level as well in the right system.

Depends on the team they go to

Nuk went to a great location as Houston is a pretty good team that needed a No. 2 WR to line up beside Johnson. Both Sammy and Tajh have the talent to excel but it will depend on the team and organization they go to. If you put them on the Jets or Raiders then no matter how good they are they are going into a train wreck of a situation

Dunno. CJ Spiller is doing pretty well so far with a team

that was for the most part almost without a QB. Who they had was pretty bad (Fitzgerald?). Of course for an RB, the defensive line probably counts more than the QB. But CJ had some decent receptions, too.

THough I expect Sammy to have a good one as well.
I think Tajh can definitely do well, but Nuk is built for the NFL. Decent speed, good routes, and EXCELLENT hands.

Receivers in the NFL have to have hands and be tougher than hell because that game is so much faster and harder hitting. NFL DB's hit a ton and you cannot get jammed at the line and be successful. You have to be able to get off of press coverage in the NFL otherwise you'll be ineffective. His hands, toughness, and physical skills will give him the best career, i think. Speed in the NFL is only a part of the equation. Ball skills and toughness is a huge part of the equation in the NFL.

I think the only edge Nuk has on Sammy is the ability to

go up high for the catch across the middle. Sammy has done it but Nuk does it better than anyone including Jerry Butler.
Nuk does have great hands but not as good as Sammy, imo. Sammy snatches the ball better than anyone I've ever seen.

They both have reptilian hands to me. Like they have built in suction cups and could climb walls with them....

Sammy will be drafted highest

But Nuk will have a longer career. You can still excel in his role as he ages with his skillset. Will be tougher on Watkins as he loses his speed.

Do you say that because Sammy's been somewhat injured? & do you say Sammy is less skilled cuz of that muffed punt?

I think he's saying aging won't affect Hopkins like
Sep 5, 2013, 6:17 PM

it will Sammy. He's saying it'll be harder on Sammy as he loses a step speed-wise with age, but Hopkins can maintain his skill-set as he gets older.
Actually not a bad point. Then again, Sammy could always learn to adjust his game, and learn to play more like Hopkins. It's hard to tell the future.

the addition of elite speed. He has great body control, runs good routes, knows the game and even gives coaches suggestions on plays.

I honestly think that the only football player in the galaxy more explosive than Sammy Watkins is C.J. Spiller.

Though I hope to see all of them enshrined in Canton one day, I would have to say Nuk, his soft hands and ability to get open scream Hall of Fame potential.

Not sure why you say Sammy has an edge in heart.
If anything I think you have give the character/integrity/heart edge to Nuk at this point.
Nuk never once got in trouble at Clemson and was extremely clutch for us last year.
Plus considering he's already in the NFL and on a good team and in a great situation to play early, he definitely has the early edge over all 3.
