Gain some weight- came in at 6.2 and 185. Wouldn’t have survived out there. Great escapability and speed. Strong arm. We don’t need a portal QB and Dabo and Riley know it!! The incoming QB has the size but could be headed to majors. Denson is in safe keeping for now and learning better mechanics and eating and lifting. Watch out 2026- Gideon and Chris

IMO he still needs a year behind someone....he's not ready. Yet. Not to say he won't be a good one, I think he has all the tools to be a good one.

It will be an interesting battle in the Spring, but we take a chance of losing CV to transfer if he wins the job outright. IDK, there's something about this kid that is intriguing, he will be the fastest back on the field next year if he gets some snaps.

Will be interesting to see how he develops. I'm not worried about his weight. The QB at A&M is one of the best in the country and he's the same build, 6'1 185. I like to think Denson is simmering in Dabo's Crock Pot LOL!

It would be nice to see him on the field. Then again, it'd be nice to see Vizz. I still think he's better than cade. Just hasn't had the reps. Either way, glad to see cowboy cade era over.
Speaking of cade, when did he start wearing that stupid cowboy hat. I've been seeing a lot of young ladies wearing skorts and cowboy boots. Disgusting.

I don't think weight will be a problem. I hope he pushes CV, next year. I would like to see him and CV get a lot of snaps against Furman.

My hope is him and CV split the bowl game if possible. Give CV a half or 3/4 and let Denson play the last quarter

Denson from my town in FL. Played at the HS I used to coach. Know some guys who coached against him. Late bloomer in his Sr year but single handedly led his team to the playoffs. Dabo and Riley flew down for he gane he ran for 200 with 2 TDS and psssed for 205 with 2 TDS and lost by 1 point. FSU jumped in late and tried to flip him…kid is from a FSU family and grew up a Nole fan. Long time FSU asst Odell Haggins told a buddy of mine who still coaches in Tampa…”he reminds us of Charlie Ward”
I’d love to see him on the field sooner rather than later

great insight. I can tell this guy seems to be a late bloomer and we got a sleeper steal. I’m hoping Dabo is just wanting to keep him in crock pot and not show too much film for him for next year. He looked good in spring game reminds me of lefty Jayden Daniels. He looks like a winner to me.

Great post. I like to think Dabo just wants to save him on a lost season and not put too much film out there on him for opposing teams. I have been saying i have a good feeling about this guy. Reminds me of lefty Jayden Daniels.

I hope so, but I'm still putting my stock in Reynolds being the guy to take over after next year. We'll see how it pans out, but I just hope we dive in the portal for a SR QB for next season.

We don’t even know if Reynolds will ever even step foot on campus. Reynolds might be another Bubba Chandler and take the MLB route out of high school.

Maybe, but Reynolds has a way bigger upside and higher ranked in recruiting than Chandler was. Ari player of the year and in the Elite 11. I just think he's going to play both and maybe make a decision on 1 sport by his last year or 2.
