What is he doing right now?

I hear he’s “at the right hand of the father”.

I thought he was the father?

Are they/him just sitting there?

Why don’t they come down and help me stack chairs after the church social?

Seated at the right hand of The Father.
He is not into stacking chairs.

He's got both of His nail scared hands full watching over me. You don't understand? He's on me like white on rice. I'm a mess, I'll stray in a NY minute so...no wait a minute. He treats all His brothers exactly like He treats me.

He's looking to adopt more brothers and sisters, you ought to look into that. Do you have anybody else who died for you, anyone who laid their life on the line to save you?

In the new covenant, every believer knows Him & is known by Him personally. The same can't be said for the lost & hell bound. This also applies to understanding Scripture. The Holy Ghost teaches each believer. This is why unbelievers clown themselves by pretending to know a Book they can't comprehend.

And this is also proof that the majority of folks who sit in pews on Sundays are just as lost as you are. Because most of them can't understand the Book either & must be constantly spoon fed surface level morality lessons only from it. Jesus did not abolish the old temple system & priesthood just to reinstitute a retread version of it in the form of Catholic/Protestant/Evangelicalicalism. The fact that they need a professional clergy class to "bring down Christ" for them once or twice a week is a YUGE red flag.

Jesus never even mentioned the “Book”. The New Testament wasn’t even formed until 3 centuries after his death.

I certainly respect your right to believe as you wish, and since we are all speculating based on things we can't possibly know, I can't tell you that you are wrong.

I am pretty comfortable, however, in pointing out that proclaiming your beliefs with total fervor and conviction does not equal knowledge or make your opinion any more convincing or persuasive.

Above all else, love and forgive. Understand that people who disagree with you are not necessarily idiots or your enemies. Respect the wisdom of the founding fathers and individual rights and freedoms. Always see the beauty and humor in life.

He died a couple thousand years ago. Now we are pretending he was the son of God. It's that simple. That man is dead.
