When talking about our O line needing help,

Nov 27, 2021, 2:04 PM

what do you T-Netters think about this Collin Sadler that will be on the team next year, at 6'6", 285 plus, will he get playing time as a freshman, with knowing that freshman usually don't see much playing time on the O line, we could really use his size in the running game. What you say?

doubtful for PT unless depth / injury issues again or working in some snaps and still saving redshirt

Agree with 74TIGER.

Unless another flurry of injury or viral interventions occur, we will have both quality and depth at O-Tackle next year. We should anticipate a RS Year pending for C.Sadler.

Hopefully there will be no more “cross training” on OL

Once Dabo takes care of some dead weight on his staff after the season.

Thank you for stating the obvious. Could Mayes play guard when we needed one? Could Lay play tackle? Could any D lineman swing across and contribute? Past staffs with a lot less talent would pull the best player available and swing him across multiple positions. Until the Bock experiment at center we seemed chained to following a depth chart made a year prior with little flexibility despite the miserable results. It's a glaring issue to the most casual fan and every announcer that has called our games.
