All of these are good!!! Love the Vision Quest one and Hoosiers. Too many to mention at the top so I will mention the movie The Champ with a young Ricky Schroder.

1. Rocky (Sly made one of the best movies of all time IMO) 2. Field of Dreams (atmosphere of the movie made it great, story was good) 3. Rudy (Sean Astin crushes this roll, Ned Beaty was awesome) 4. Remember the Titans (Denzel, enough said) 5. Blue Chips (Nick Nolte speech at the end, incredible)
Also really liked Moneyball, Major League, Friday Night Lights, We Are Marshall

Good question GeeVille.... I think there are simply too many movies to list, but Bull Durham is really good but only 1 Kevin Costner movie, and Field of Dreams is better IMO. The Natural with Robert Redford, classic but not a personal favorite.

All these baseball and football movies. How about lets change it up. Let's talk hockey. Of course can't mention hockey movies without Miracle on that list and then an under-rated movie in Mystery Alaska.

Remember the Titans, Facing the Giants, and Field of Dreams. I vaguely remember watching Brian's Song with my parents when I was younger. Mom was boo-hooing after that movie.
And, I really don't care what comments will follow, but I liked A League of Their Own.

probably a lot closer to what actually goes on out on the PGA Tour than the public would believe. And who among us that ever played golf at a decent level hasn't thought at one time or another "I nutted that thing", only to see it tumble into a watery grave.
And, A League of Their Own, because it brought some new light on an all-but-forgotten part of the history of baseball.

Great movie. Great story. I still get chills when I hear Al Michael's call, "Do you believe in miracles?!?!?"
Behind that, though, would be "Remember the Titans." Really well written and very well acted. Great soundtrack, too.
Honorable mention to "Safety" about Clemson's own and filmed on campus!

I'd have to say it's probably black swan. The plot just has everything you need from a great sports film: the dreamer, trials, failure, training scenes, rivalries, natalie portman, triumphant returns. I mean it just doesn't get better than that folks
