What is the best way to get the game at the tailgate?

We are considering Starlink with YouTube TV for the 2024 tailgate season due to issues with Direct TV, but we are worried the trees will block the satellite. We know there’s the app to find the best position, but we live in Columbia and can’t try it out before game day. We tailgate in Lot 2. If not Starlink, what other options do people use? It seems like using a phone as a mobile hotspot might not work well with all the other cell phones in use. Any tips would be appreciated before we open the box!

I use Youtubetv on my phone and mirror cast it to my TV. Have AT&T and have never had a problem

Have you done this at a game with 80,00 people doing the same?

there’s big difference between 80K spread out over a few square miles and 80K all in the same stadium. I have much better network connectivity at the tailgate than I do at the game.

Yes with zero issues. No buffering and clear picture.

I have Starlink at my house in the Sandy Springs area. The satellites are generally in the northern part of the sky. If you have an unobstructed view overhead and toward the north, you should be ok.
BTW, we are also in lot 2 but use a Dish antenna.

If you have verizon, their jetpack and youtube tv is a good option.
