Water bottles (like Yeti) allowed in stadium?

Sep 11, 2021, 10:14 AM

If they are empty of course... It has been years since I have made a game, but remember taking unopened Aquifina bottles with no problem. I would rather take my yeti so my water doesn't get hot. Anyone know if this is ok?

I am guessing yes, as long as you dont make pipe bombs out of them

I would guess no.

No. Just bottled water that has not been opened.

That’s my understanding.

Can take moonshine if you smuggle it in ...

But losing Yeti bottles can be expensive.

Interesting story.

I used carry an 6-pack, soft sided cooler around with me, pregame, as I visit friends and walked around campus. I tried to carry this into the stadium a couple years back. They said I couldn't. I showed that it was empty, even turned it inside out. They said no.

I pulled a clear plastic bag out of my pocket, stuffed it into the bag, and they then said it would be fine to carry into the stadium.

Thanks for the responces...

It probably just depends on which gate guard I go to...

Just figured if it is good enough for airport security, it should work for stadiums also. I'm no environmentalist, but plastic water bottles are worse for the turtles than balloons!

Do away with plastic water bottles and bring back balloons!
