Want to really get angry at something?

Look at Colin Cowherd's latest top 25 he submitted to ESPN. On the bottom left of the page. Notice anything screwed up... or like 5 or 6 screwed up things?
http://espn.go.com/college-football/powerrankings/_/show/first
It's literally the worst ranking of any kind I've ever seen in my entire life. He must be doing that to get negative attention.

Notre Dame ranked ahead of FSU?
Oct 19, 2014, 5:34 PM
|
|
SCAR being ranked #24 and Clemson unranked?
FSU at #7, behind 4 teams with a loss?
SEC teams in the top 4 spots?
USC #12 in the country... they lost to BC and have 2 losses.
Clemson has two losses to two top 8 teams and BEAT BC.
Really?

Uhh this poll had clemson #22. I actually agreed with the majority. SC was Unranked as well. Even noted ECU's loss to SC as a "bad loss" for the pirates.

Cowherd doesn't watch college football, unless it's PAC 12..
Oct 19, 2014, 5:36 PM
|
|
He is just towing the company line. A few weeks ago he was blasting how weak the $EC is. Cowherd knows NFL and MLB, anything else he doesn't pay that much attention to.

So the SEC has fluffers....
Oct 19, 2014, 5:54 PM

That is one of the big reasons the SEC has the reputation is because so many reporters drop to there knees and beg for affection when the SEC is involved.

do you think people vote the sec teams high because of how many nc they have won in the last 10 years? is it possible that this could have something to do with it? could this be why espn shows all of their games? could this be why the sec network is making so much money and we don't have a network except raycom? I'm just thinking out loud and trying to figure this thing out.

You were giving you opinion or your list of reasons that the SEC has so many reporter groupies. In reply I will say maybe, but there is little logic to some of these SEC whipping boys coming up with such lame poll picks other than they ride the SEC poll.

What is there to be mad about. we haven't beaten anyone on that list.
lets win the rest of our games then see where we are. we had 2 chances to get respect.
one of them we got blasted. could have been worse but they did not run the score up on us.
Forget about the ranking. Let's run the table, then an argument can be made , if others lose.

He left us off the list because we barely beat BC and louisville, our 2 best wins. he doesnt respect us.
He added the coots because he perceives them as having more quality wins, against teams with better records.
I do not even like the guy, but it is just an opinion he has. people will respect us when we beat someone. If we lose to usuc again, then his list is more accurate than you think.
I am not a fan of the hurry up offence when we are winning, it just keeps giving the ball to the other team quickly everytime we go 3 and out. There is a chance we will not beat usuc this year.
My agenda is to inform the OP that people who get paid to make lists like that, go by what they see, what they research. Usuck has beaten us 5 straight years. lets not act as if it is outlandish that someone who is not a clemson fan would rank them ahead of us.

Explain this

He ranks Michigan State above Oregon, Notre Dame above Florida State, USC (who using your own logic got blasted out of the stadium by Boston College) is ranked #12. It's fine that he has Clemson unranked. No one here is arguing about that. Trollfail of epic proportions.

I will not argue that the guy is a moron who is biased for the pac 12.
i think USC is over rated every year, but that is another story. They did beat stanford , which deserves respect, and arizona, who i am not convinced of, which is better than beating 5 nobodies.

i watched the michigan state/ oregon game, and the fsu /notre dame game. both excellent contests.
all 4 deserve to be on the list. the order may be suspect but the OP says "Want to really get angry at something? "
in sports 10 people can watch the same exact thing and see different things. nothing to get angry about there, all the teams showed up.

BTW i think BC and loiusville will prove to be better than the lack of respect they are getting.
As those 2 teams keep winning too, as i think they will, we will gain respect.
I will tell you what angers me. referees in the uga/clemson game not officiating evenly. example, they tried to cost us a fumble recovery and did the opposite when they fumbled. they also threw a flag on jadar johnson because their qb underthrew the ball and the reciever stopped, and the uga recievers were doing much worse through out. Not being biased but it was obvious bias.
I am not saying we would have won, but it may have been different if we werent losing by 3 when i thought we should have been winning going into quarter 4.

Cowherd's gone full Bayless. I actually used to like listening to his stuff a few years ago, but he found out he gets a lot more publicity by intentionally doing/saying ridiculous things that ticks people off.
