Wake Forest should be immediately kicked out of the ACC

They are 4-0 and on a nationally televised platform and hosting Florida State, and half of their bleachers are empty in the first 10 rows. That is a stain on the rest of the conference. Even Vandy doesn't come close to that pathetic of a showing.

Check that, only 31.5K and lots of empty seats.

For a 4-0 team playing FSU that is pretty bad.

I'm all for filling our conference with the Clemson's, and FSU's, but it's not possible bc we are stuck with we got and have had for most of our conference history. Wake was one of the founding members of the ACC and will never be asked to leave. If Wake was to ever leave the ACC, it will be only bc of a choice of their own, and no other reason. The same goes for Clemson, UNC, Duke, Virginia, and NCST. Those 6 teams were the founding teams of the ACC, along with the coots and Maryland who gave up their memberships as their own doing, and I don't think either would ever be welcomed back in the ACC. But the remaining members will forever hold a lifetime membership if that is their choice. The rest were add ons, GT 1979, FSU 1991, VT 2004, Miami 2004, BC 2005, Pitt 2013, Syracuse 2013, Notre Dame, Part member 2013, Louisville 2014. I feel absolutely sure that the 6 remaining founding members of the ACC will never be ask to leave the ACC unless one of them are found guilty of far greater issues than what UNC has committed. So personally I don't mind Wake being in the ACC, they have been in the ACC for 64 years and have had far worse teams than they have now, and I've gotten use to Wake being Wake, there are time that we don't know what we will be getting from Wake....

Last year I bought 50 yard line seats at Wake for $20 each

We sat beside a big donor who told me they are planning to add a bunch of seats by enclosing the EZ ... I wanted to ask him why, but didn't because he was a nice fellow and was pretty enthusiastic about the outlook for Wake football. But I asked myself ... why?? BTW, he and his wife left at halftime.

Pretty sure most people don't care about how many Wake fans are at a game, or view it as stain on the conference.
Wake only has 5000 undergrads.

For a team that was bowl eligible they had a pi$$ poor showing at our game last year....
But talking to somebody that has student friends... They said they weren't going because they knew they didn't stand a chance...

I put one of my daughters through that school. Wake Forest football is all about the tailgate. They go in the stadium late in the 1st half to check the scoreboard - they're often losing, so they go back to the tailgate.
They are doing better this year, but apparently the lure of the tailgate is too ingrained.

Keep in mind that WF doesn't have a 20,000 student campus.. I'm sure it is the smallest school in the league by a lot. I don't know what their alumni base is but I bet it is smaller than others in the league. They are certainly playing well today however.
