They will ultimately find this guy, unless he is sitting on a dufflebag of cash and a slow boat to to a third world country, 'cause airports have even more sophisticated biometric scanners.

What a coincidence.
MN State Representative Melissa Hortman was killed very shortly after breaking ranks with the MN Democrats by voting with Republicans in a key piece of legislation. She voted to reduce state funded health care benefits to illegal aliens.

Vance Boettler and his wife Jenny Boettler had, on their social media page, a photo with them smiling and wearing T-shirts that read “Resist” (with a pic of a pistol) - that being on Vance - and something along the lines of ‘I think so therefore I’m a Democrat’ for Jenny.
I now suspect that the motivation behind Vance Boettler’s derangement is much simpler than political ideology.
Vance Boettler had been having career problems ever since his volunteer / workforce role with State of MN terminated in 2023. (From what I’ve read, T.Walz … who ‘re-hired’ Boettler in 2019 after being initially hired for the volunteer MN workforce job by former MN Gov Mark Drayton … did not ‘fire’ Boettler. Boettler’s term in that role simply expired, after which he wasn’t bore-hired by Walz.)
Back to the motive for murder. Perhaps it’s just coincidence, but V.Boettler’s for-pay work dropped off after his term as volunteer ‘workforce’ role for State of MN ended. Maybe there was a loss of prestige for V.Boettler after being disassociated from the State of MN. Regardless of whether a cause-and-effect situation -or- simple coincidence was at play, V.Boettler was probably very unhappy that his career fortunes had deteriorated.
As is the case with far too many people, when bad luck befalls them, then SOMEBODY (else) is going to be blamed. Somewhere, somehow, somebody is going to pay.
Since the State of MN government (dominated by Democrats) was the entity that ‘diminished his prestige,’ then the MN Demicrats would be a (given a nut’s state of mind) reasonable target for revenge. The ‘No Kings’ flyers and the political messaged T-shirts, as well as the misc reports that he had morphed into MAGA, probably were of no relevance as for his decision to start killing Democrat politicians.
That’s it.
