UNC BOT meeting today.

I looked at their agenda. It's a two day meeting. Today was just committee meetings and nothing on the gaenda of any or the committees seemed to be relevant to the relationship with the ACC.
If anything happens, it will be tomorrow.
That's the way I read it. Please somebody correct me if I missed something.

Will it be similar to the August meeting at FSU (no lawsuit but the groundwork was laid so that everyone knew a suit was coming soon)?
Or will UNC vote to follow Clemson and FSU and file a suit immediately?

Let's hope the latter. If enough schools file suit, a settlement will come sooner than later and probably more favorable to the schools wanting exit.
Think about legal fees. Each school only has to fund one legal team for one lawsuit, whereas the ACC will be dishing out legal fees to multiple teams on multiple lawsuits. The legal cost of the ACC will eventually run so high they will be forced to negotiate a settlement just to end the litigation.

timing of the filings of these lawsuits. Just as the ACC thinks they have a handle on one front, another volley comes across the bow from a totally different direction.

You are disgusted about being on the side as UNC but you'll hang with the renegades in Tallahassee...talk about disgusting...we were a founding member of the ACC with UNC...FSWTC couldn't find a home so they found the ACC...We made a deal with all the other members of the ACC in accepting the GOR and having extra revenue...now it doesn't look so good so we want to back out...that stinks of the FSU joke and COVID...you are only as good as how you live up to your agreements!

It would be interesting to see the Tarholes and the conference jockey for advantages in the NC courts. Venues? Judges?
I've always thought of the league and UNC as the same entity.

I hope UNC joins us and FSU and this gets done sooner than later.

NC legislature poison pilled UNC.
Any state school has to request approval for changing conferences from the state and it would be a public record.
Nothing with UNC is going to happen quickly or in secret because of this.
