They controlled the final 60% of the game. If it weren't for that unbelievable run and goal by Gyan and ridiculous save by Donovan we probably lose the game. Was odd to see us gassed and unable to maintain possession in the 2nd half. Cal was one of the hottest teams in the country the last six games or so and were playing for their postseason lives so I guess that explains their energy and our lack thereof.

But another HUGE win for the Tigers baby. IMO we should already be a top 8 seed and if we win the championship a top 4 seed. But just like last year we are being screwed in the RPI and I don't trust that committee one bit to give us an appropriate seed. We shall see but typical of a Noonan squad we are.olauing our best soccer down the stretch. Our talented young players have really matured and I believe this team is capable once again to compete for the national title.

It's amazing because early season I thought maybe we were a top 16 team in the end. Let's gooo!!!

Over the season. RPI ignores that Noonan uses the season to improve his squad not just win every game. But I really thought our defense would be too bad to overcome but, while shaky, Coach has really brought them along to be serviceable.

Totally agree. The committee clearly puts too much emphasis on RPI. Hopefully after last years snub with the #9 seed the committee makes up for how wrong they were then.

If we win the ACC then we should be top 4 no doubt, NONE.

Crazy that we are only #14 in RPI right now, which probably requires us to beat Wake to get a top 8 seed. Because we know the committee will just fall back on RPI when they can.

The tie to Holy Cross is what is holding us back in RPI. Holy Cross RPI rank is 181 out of 212 teams.

He was the reason for both Cal goals.

Looks like he has lost all confidence in his play.

Hope Illuminato can play Sunday.

Yeah, It was a terrible game for him. Lost in position and poor decisions made throughout. Keep was pissed with him on that one goal as he did two major mistakes to gift them the goal...losing possession in a bad spot and then poor marking in defense.

Individually I really like his game and technical skill but for some reason he has become disjointed with the team as a whole as the year has gone on.
