I don’t have any doubt he’s coming back

And imagine some of their other guys stay. He won’t be ready physically for draft workouts and will need to prove he has healed

There seems to be a split among the Alabama fans as to whether or not he will stay.

Quite honestly, this injury was a disaster for him. He may not even be incredibly healthy come August. Another injury at Bama next year, and he may be done with football. Can’t imagine what an insurance policy for an injury prone guy like Tua would cost.

One more good whack on that hip (the blind side one) and he will be doing commercials for ceramic ball joints...

Sadly, I almost feel like he has to come back to prove he is healthy and will stay healthy

I hated to see him get that hip injury. For me that was hard to watch.

He's still a projected high 1st round draft pick without being healthy

He's a good kid who will ace the interviews. He can only hurt himself if his recovery isn't coming along as expected.

The people who are still projecting him high don't have to

put their money where their mouth is. I can't see an NFL team risking a 1st round pick on him unless he has been able to show he is 100% healthy. That will certainly not happen by draft time. For that reason alone, I can see him coming back next year. I think the fact that some high projected Bama draft eligible guys have decided to return, which NEVER happens at Bama, is a tipoff that he is coming back as well.

Tough choice for him

He likely won’t be able to really work out for the NFL teams. That would probably drop him to the end of the 1st round. If he comes back and plays well he could get himself back up into the top 10 to 12 BUT should he get hurt he will be labeled injury-prone and probably drops to the 3-5 round.

Indeed a tough spot. Tua seems like a great kid and has electric talent.
You can't help but question how he'd hold up in the NFL through a whole season when he hasn't done so at the college level.
Hope it works out for him.

Maybe they are both going to the Dolphins.
